Kapil Dev to inaugurate blood donation camp at CLTA

Chandigarh, July 10 (UNI) Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association will organise a blood donation camp tomorrow at the CLTA Tennis Stadium in Sector 10.

Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association chairman Rajan Kashyap today said former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev would inaugurate the blood donation camp at 0830 hrs. He said, Kapil Dev would also associate himself with the camp as a donar.

Mr Rajan Kashyap, who is also Chief Information Commissioner of Punjab, said that he was confident that the camp would receive an overwhelming response from the people in the noble cause of donating precious blood to save lives.

"Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association is organising blood donation camp every year as the City Beautiful is facing acute shortage of blood." Mr Kashyap said.
