Girl gang-raped by 4 village youths

Hoshiarpur, July 10 (UNI) A young girl was allegedly gang-raped by four youths in Sikri village in the district last evening, police said today.

The accused, identified as Pardeep Singh Baba, Raval Singh, Kala and Kamal, were booked under Sections 376, 342, 506 and 34 of the IPC.

Police said the four accused accosted the victim when she was returning home from a beauty parlour where she was working as a trainee apprentice. They took her to a nearby place and raped her.

Later, they threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident.

The girl, however, narrated the incident to her family members who filed a police complaint in this regard.
