Enfochips sets up design centre in Bangalore

Bangalore, July 10 (UNI) Einfochips, leading provider of 'spec-to-silicon-to-system' electronic design services, today announced setting up of its design centre in the city.

The new center would enable the company to expand its leadership position in the silicon design market.

"The growing importance of Bangalore as a hub of captive design centre for large semiconductor companies with increased outsourcing requirements and large availability of talent pool makes it attractive to set up the design centre in the city," Einfochips CEO Praful Shroff said in a release here.

The new design center, spread over an area of 6,200 sq ft, would house more than 50 engineers by end of 2007, he added.
