Chahal's judicial remand extended till July 23
Ludiana, July 10 (UNI) A local court has extended the judicial custody of BIS Chahal, former media advisor of ex-chief minister Amarinder Singh, till July 23, in a land grabbing case.
Judicial Magistrate Harinder Kaur Siddhu today extended the remand after hearing the arguments of both the prosecution and defence lawyers.
The case of attempting to grab three acres of land was registered against Chahal on June 10 at Sadar police station on the complaint of Harchand Singh, a farmer of village Dad on the city outskirts.
