Car kills 50-year-old in Model Town

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) A 50-year-old man died when a car grazed a pavement in Model Town area of North Delhi early morning today.

The driver of the car Arjun Sehgal (20), resident of Tagore Park, has been arrested and the vehicle impounded, police said.

The victim, Lajja Ram who sells milk, died on the spot after a luxury sedan Honda Accord ran over a pavement on Bhama Shah Marg in Model town at about 0345 hrs.

He was rushed to Babu Jagjiwan Ram Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The deceased has four sons, three daughters and a wife.
