Airtel launches new schemes in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, July 10: Leading mobile service provider Airtel today launched two offers on the popular Nokia handsets -- Nokia Colour 1600 and Nokia 1110-- for its prepaid customers in the state.

In this new offer, an Airtel prepaid customer will get a Nokia Colour 1600 handset with an Airtel prepaid connection valid for two years for Rs 1,999, a company statement said here.

In the second offer, a customer will get Nokia 1110 handset and a free Airtel post-paid connection with an 18-month validity at Rs 1,599.

This will also include 300 minutes of free Airtel to Airtel local talktime, the statement said.
