World Hindi Conference at New York from July 13

Lucknow, July 9 (UNI) The 8th World Hindi Conference will held at New York, the US, from July 13 to 15.

A high level delegation from Lucknow University (LU) will attend the three day conclave, sources said here this evening.

Headed by LU Vice Chancellor Prof R P Singh, the delegation comprises Prof Kali Charan Snehi and Dr S P Thapa from the departments of Hindi and Philosophy respectively.

All participants shall present their papers on different aspects of Hindi language and literature.

Besides, three books of Prof Snehi -- 'Jai Bharat Jai Bhim', 'Arachan Apna Apna' and 'Adhunik Bhundeli Kavya' are expected to be released before the world luminaries of Hindi at New York.

It is also expected that the participants gathered from the world would resolve to include Hindi as one of the official languages of United Nations Organisation (UNO).
