Puducherry to observe 7-day mourning from July 8

Puducherry, July 9 (UNI) The Union Territory of Puducherry will observe seven-day state mourning from July 8 to 14 as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar who passed away yesterday.

According to an official release here, during the period there will be no offical entertainment and the national flag would be flown half mast.
