MP: Disposal of grievances of dam displaced
Bhopal, July 9: The Madhya Pradesh Government has issued directions to set up special grievance redressal camps with the objective of disposing problems of displaced of Onkareshwar and Indira Sagar projects on the spot.
Official sources said directions had been issued to Khandwa, Dewas and Harda district collectors that presence of land acquisition and rehabilitation officers, sub-divisional magistrate and Tahsildar of the area be ensured in the camps so that problems were resolved on the spot.
The government has directed to provide adequate publicity in the area to oustees and local public representatives before a camps was organised.
A proforma application form for each specific problem would be made available to the oustees so that they could provide full related information.
In case a problem is not resolved on the spot, adequate guidance would be provided and the problem would be resolved at the earliest.
Indore Divisional Commissioner would monitor and co-ordinate redressal camps being organised in Indira Sagar and Onkareshwar project affected areas.
