Nagaland CM condoles death of Chandra Shekhar

Kohima, July 9 (UNI) Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today condoled the demise of former Prime Minister Chandra Sekhar who passed away in Delhi yesterday.

Mr Rio described him as a person who was attracted to politics at a very early age while still in the university level and had held many important positions, including the office of the Prime Minister.

Eulogising the late Prime Minister, Rio stated that the ability to take quick decisions and express himself frankly without fear or favour are amongst the outstanding qualities of the leader.

He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal rest of the departed soul.
