Hikal signs Rs 200 cr pact with Alpharma Inc

New Delhi, July 9: Drug and chemicals maker Hikal Ltd today said it has signed a mutually exclusive long-term agreement worth Rs 200 crore with US-based Alpharma Inc.

The agreement includes manufacture and supply of an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) for the Veterinary sector.

Hikal will manufacture the API at its US Food and Drug Authority-approved plant at Jigani, Bangalore.
