AP: Cong MLA's son remanded to judicial custody
Hyderabad, July 9: A local court today remanded former Minister and Congress MLA P Janardhan Reddy's son and son-in-law, who were arrested last night on a complaint lodged by Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's brother for allegedly attacking him, to judicial custody till July 20.
The 12th Additional Metropolitan Magistrate remanded them and sent them to Chenchalguda jail.
The Chief Minister's brother Ravindra Reddy had lodged a complaint with the city police that Mr Janardhan Reddy's son Vishnuvardhan Reddy and son-in-law Mahipal Reddy had attacked him.
Meanwhile, Mr Janardhan Reddy staged a dharna before the Banjara Hills police station, demanding that the police register cases against Mr Ravindra Reddy and his son Sumadhur Reddy and arrest them for allegedly attacking his son and relatives.
The MLA's wife, Sulochanamma, also lodged a similar complaint with the same police station.
