CITU to stage 'Satyagrah' in front of Vidhan Sabha

Bhopal, July 9 (UNI) The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will stage a 'Satyagrah' in front of the Vidhan Sabha here on July 23 in support of the six-point demands of daily wage employees.

CITU's Bhopal District President Pramod Pradhan told reporters here today that earlier demonstration would be staged in all district headquarters and a memorandum would be submitted to the Chief Minister on July 11.

He described the circular issued by the state government on May 16 regarding regularising daily wage employees as a fraud against them.

As per the circular, no recruitment officer could issue the order of regulrisation.

The six-point demands included cancellation of the circular, workcharging daily wage employees, regularising gangman, declaring undertaking signed by them during recruitment as null and void and providing them salaries on the basis of their seniority and for suspension period.
