3 barbers appointed to serve Balmiki community!

Etah, July 9 (UNI) The district administration has appointed three barbers for providing hair cutting service to the Balmiki community leading to a protest by barbers here.

Following animosity between members of the 'nai' (barber) and Balmiki communities at Jaithra town here, the barbers decided not to serve the latter community.

All the hair cutting salons remained closed for a third consecutive day today as a sign of protest.

SDM Aliganj Bhagwan Sharan said the district administration has appointed three barbers for serving the Balmikis.
