215 kg charas, Fuki and Poppy recovered in Kashmir
Srinagar, July 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police in its continued drive against the cultivation of narcotics recovered 215 kg of charas, fuki and poppy straw in south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a specific information was recieved in Pulwama police station that some smugglers had stored charas and other narcotics in their homes.
He said during the search of Ghulam Hassan Dar's house at Kulpora, police recovered 45 kg Fuki powder and 120 kg of Poppy straw.
Later, police recovered 45 kg charas and five kg of Fuki from the cowshed of Abdul Razak Dar in the same area.
Police recovered 40 bags of fuki from three different houses at Arwani, Bijbehara in south Kashmir yesterday.
