VIP would not be given special treatment in daytime in Shrawani mela

Deoghar, Jul 08 (UNI) In the wake of world famous ''shrawani mela'' organised every year in Deoghar the managing board of Baidyananth dham temple today held a meeting to discuss about the prepartions for the meal.

Deputy Commissioner Manish Ranjan, District's Suprintendent of Police Manoj Kaushik and chairman of the committee T.P.Sinha discussed about the security measures to be taken in view of the mega-event.

Official sources said that no special treatment would be given to VVIPs during the day adding high level detectors would be fixed at the main gate of the temple.

SOurces said about one fourth of the total security forces would be deployed at the main gate of the temple.

Lakhs of devotees visit the city during the mela.
