Seven day state mourning, Holiday for Schools and Banks t'morrow

Bangalore, July 8 (UNI) A seven day mourning will be observed in Karnataka following the death of former Prime Minister and founder member of Janata Party Chandrashekar in a hospital in New Delhi today.

The state government also announced a holiday for government offices, banks, schools and colleges in the state tomorrow under negotiable instruments act.

A Special Cabinet meeting would be held tomorrow to condole death of Mr Chandrashekar.
