Rs 1 lakh stolen from milk coop's office
Nadiad, Gujarat, July 8 (UNI) Rs one lakh in cash was stolen from the safe of the Mahuda-based Muleshera Milk Co-operative Society, police said today.
Chairman of the Society, Adesinh Parmar lodged a complaint with the police stating that the society had withdrawn Rs 1.20 lakh from the bank Friday last in order to pay bonus to its members. The money had been kept in the safe.
However, when Mr Parmar opened the safe yesterday, he found that Rs one lakh was missing while Rs 20,000 was still lying in the safe.
Mr Parmar has named a suspect but no arrests have been made so far.
