Rain-soaked Kolkata experiences humid weather

Kolkata, July 8 (UNI) After days of incessant rains, Kolkata today witnessed a jump in humidity and a few spells of rain.

Met office recorded maximum temperature of 31.1 degree Celsius and the minimum of 26.9 degree Celsius.

Maximum humidity was pegged at 97 per cent and the minimum was measured at 81 per cent.

According to local weather office, rainfall stood at 7.9 mm here.

Met department predicted partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunder showers.
