Naga Hoho calls Extraordinary Federal Assembly
Kohima, July 8: The Naga Hoho, the apex tribal body of all Naga tribes, has called an Extraordinary Federal Assembly on July 11 at the Zonal Council Hall in the Kohima town.
A release of the Hoho here today said that the meeting would review the latest political situation of the state and seek the counsel of the tribal leaders towards constituting a Unity and Reconciliation Committee with an aim to bring the all Naga groups to bring to common platform towards the settlement of the Naga political issue.
The decision to convene the meeting was taken in the Executive Council meeting of the Naga Hoho yesterday in response to the overwhelming enthusiasm of various Naga tribal hohos, organisations and the public in general to pursue unity and reconciliation among various Naga outfits.
Incidentally, the Naga Hoho had called for submission of two representatives each for constituting the Unity and Reconciliation Committee.
