Man kills wife, mother-in-law

Ludhiana, July 8 (UNI) A man killed his wife and mother-in-law allegedly due to the latter's interference in his family matters here today.

Kuldeep Rajput, who runs a milling machine in Giaspura area in the city, attacked his wife Anuradha (25) and mother-in-law Sona Devi (48) with a piston of the machine. He hit them hard on their heads and the two women succumbed to their injuries, police said.

Sona Devi had reportedly come to their house this afternoon and had an argument with Kuldeep over some family matter.

The accused was absconding and the police registered a case under Section 302 against him, police said.

Kuldeep had two daughters. One of them was two-and-a-half years old and the other was just one-month old, they said.
