Madhu Koda condoles death of Chandra Shekhar

Ranchi, July 8 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda today condoled the death of former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar.

Mr Koda said Chandra Shekhar, known for his strong comments in the House, headed the nation for a short period of about nine months but would be remembered for his secular ideology.

Mr Koda said the former Prime Minister was ''Ajatshatru'' and a true samajwadi leader, who raised his voice for the benefit of the weaker sections.

He said the former Prime Minister, popularly known as ''Young Turk'' in the political field, was a committed social leader.
