JD(U) leader shot dead in Madhepura

Madhepura, Jul 08 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants shot dead local JD(U) leader Rajendra Metha at Jagdishpur village under Alamnagar police station here last night.

District Police Superintendent O.N.Bhasker said today that armed miscreants barged into the residence of Mr Metha and shot him dead while he was sleeping.

Raids were on to nab the miscreants, Mr Bhaskar said adding the case was being investigated.
