Husband kills wife, buries her in house

Hyderabad, July 8 (UNI) In a shocking incident, police today exhumed the body of a woman a week after she was allegedly murdered and buried by her husband in their house.

Police said Upendra killed his wife Dillishwari suspecting her fidelity and buried the body. He then lodged a complaint with the police saying his wife had been missing for a week.

Dillishwari's relatives who came to the house this morning noticed foul smell emanating from a room where floor plastering work was underway.

They grew suspicious as Upendra was unwilling to disclose the whereabouts of his wife.

Following a complaint, police rushed to the house and found the body. Upendra was reportedly absconding.
