Hooda is imposed CM, says Bishnoi

Rewari, Jul 8 (UNI) Suspended Congress MP Kuldeep Bishnoi today claimed that the people of Haryana had voted the Congress to power in the state to make his father Bhajan Lal the Chief Minister but the party high command imposed Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda as the CM.

''Mr Hooda was forcibly imposed as CM against the mandate of the people of Haryana who voted the Congress to power to make Mr Bhajan Lal the CM of the state,'' Mr Bishnoi said while addressing a rally and a press conference here.

On the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue, he claimed that about 90 per cent of the construction work for the canal was completed during Mr Bhajan Lal's regime.

To a question, he said he would shortly launch a new party which would come to power in the state without any coalition.
