Heavy showers in Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, July 8 (UNI) Heavy showers lashed the hilly state of Himachal Pradesh in the last twenty four hours with Buntar in Kullu district recording a maximum of 100 mm rainfall.
Closely followed on the heels was Sundernagar in Mandi district recording 72 mm rainfall, while the state capital Shimla received 34.8 mm rainfall since morning. Una was the lowest with 8.8 mm.
Shimla recorded a minimum temperature of 16.2 degree celsius, while the maximum hovered around 18.3 degree celsius.
Sundernagar recorded minimum and maximum temperatures of 23.1 and 25.1, Bhuntar 19.3 and 20, Kalpa 12.7 and 17.1 degree celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, the MET office forecasts rain in most places in Shimla and some other parts of the state.
