Haryana governor, CM condole death of Chandrashekhar
Chandigarh, July 8 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai and Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda have condoled the demise of former Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, who died in Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, this morning.
In a message issued here today, Dr Kidwai described Chandra Shekhar as the tallest personality of Indian politics and a staunch secular nationalist.
Mr Hooda hailed Chandrashekhar as a champion of the masses who worked throughout his life for the welfare of the downtrodden.
Both the leaders conveyed their heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved family.
