Businessman shot dead in Saharsa

Saharsa, Jul 08 (UNI) Unidentified miscreants today shot dead a man at Rajanpur market under Sonbarsa police station in the district.

District Police Superintendent Kunwar Singh here said the miscreants opened fire on Sunil Chaudhary, a businessman, killing him on the spot.

''The motive behind the killing was some personal enmity,'' Mr Singh said adding that the case was being investigated and the miscreants were at large.

Meanwhile, Janardan Sada of Ghaat Mushar Tola under Sonbarsa police station was kidnapped and killed last night.

Land dispute was stated to be the reason behind the killing.
