'Bourbon King' wins Bangalore Summer Derby

Bangalore, July 8 (UNI) Favourite 'Bourbon King' ridden by B Prakash won the Kingfisher Derby Bangalore (Gr-I), the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy. The winner won the glittering trophy and a stake money of Rs 61 lakhs.

Jockey K P G Appu and Aadesh Kumar rode a brace of winners each while four favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
