8 killed and two injured in road accident

Motihari, July 8 (UNI) Eight members of a family were killed and two others seriously injured in a road accident at Tipra, about 40 kms from here, early today.

The district superintendent of police said the accident occured when a Uttar Pradesh-bound truck from Muzzafarpur collided head on with another truck, carrying the victims, on NH 28 killing all the eight people, including three children and two women, on the spot.

Another child and the diver of the ill-fated truck were seriously injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital, the SP said.
