Youth held for buying SIM cards for 'Jehadi' activities

Hyderabad, July 7 (UNI) The Special Investigation Cell today arrested a youth on charges of procuring SIM cards using forged documents for carrying out 'Jehadi' activities.

Police sources here tonight said Shaik Abdul Kaleem (19), alias Rafi, a resident of Saleem Nagar Colony here, was suspected to have procured more than two dozen SIM cards and stealing identity cards of people.

Rafi had reportedly confessed to having acquired the SIM cards to carry out Jehadi activities. He was suspected to be in touch with terrorists inside and outside India.
