Bhopal, July 7 (UNI) Traffic on Itarsi-Nagpur section of Central Railway was restored after it remained disrupted for nearly three hours, as heavy boulders fell on the track due to landslide in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh.

Six trains, including two goods trains, were delayed by two-four hours.

After boulders were removed, the G T Express was the first train to be cleared at around 1300 hours.

Railway sources said a team of Central Railway's Nagpur division officials led by ADRM Keshav Somkuwar have reached the spot. Betul station comes under the Nagpur division.

Heavy stone fell on the track between Dharakho and Amjhiri stations near Betul around 1000 hours. The trains were being cleared at slow speed because of hilly regions nearby.

Besides two goods trains, the G T Express, the Jaipur Express, the Southern Express and the Nagpur Agra passenger were delayed.
