One killed, two hurt as Blueline hits pedestrians
New Delhi, July 7: A 22-year-old man was killed and two others injured when a speeding Blueline hit three people in Mongolpuri area of North-West Delhi this morning.
The speeding Blueline first rammed into a tree at Karkari Morh near Sultanpuri in Nangloi and then hit the pedestrians, killing one and injuring two others, said a senior police official.
''The accident which took place at about 0845 hrs reportedly happened after the driver lost control,'' of the vehicle, he said.
The person killed is a 22-year-old cyclist who was coming from the opposite direction. One of the injured is a 16-year-old boy Manish who has been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, the official said.
The driver of the bus, plying on route no 929 (Mubarakpur to Daryaganj), Dhanilal was held on the spot, he added.
