GSPC finds new oil reservoirs

Gandhinagar, July 7: The Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) claims to have found oil reservoirs in the Olpad and Khambhat regions.

An oil reservoir has been found at a depth of 2,479 metres in the well of Miroli-1 of NELP-IV block, a GSPC release here today said.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi congratulated GSPC on the finds and said, ''With this achievement, Gujarat has carved a niche as a Gas Capital of India''.
