Govt ready to hold 'Peace Talks' with naxals: Minister
Ongole, July 7 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy today said the state government was ready to hold a second round of 'Peace talks' with the naxals if they eschewed violence.
Talking to newspersons here, after reviewing the law and order situation with the police officials of Prakasham district, Mr Reddy said the government was committed to solving the naxal menace in the state.
Stating that the government was implementing the 610 GO to repatriate non local government employees from Telangana region, he explained that the objective was to render justice to all.
The minister expressed satisfaction over the law and order situation in the state and took a stock of the naxal movements in the Nallamala forest area.
Earlier, Mr Reddy inaugurated a rural police station and sub jail at Markapuram.
