First phase of online counselling from July 21

Vijayawada, July 7 (UNI) NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) will conduct the first phase of online counselling for MBBS and BDS seats from July 21.

Addressing a press conference here, NTRUHS Vice-Chancellor A V Krishnam Raju said the online counselling would be held at NTRUHS, JNTU Hyderabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, and Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Dr Raju said notification for the counselling would be issued on July 9 and all the information would be displayed on the University website-'www.apntruhs.ap.nic.in'.

Online applications, introduced for the first time, would be available in the website from July 10 to July 16.

Dr Raju said the candidates could apply for one or more courses by submitting his or her details online.

He said the filled-up application should be sent for registration to the NTRUHS Registrar in person or by post from July 10 to July 18.

The counselling for the general category would start on July 21 followed by reservation and special categories.

He said the second phase of counselling for MBBS and BDS seats would be completed by September 30.

The counselling for the BAMS, BHMS, BPT and BSc Nursing would be taken up at a later date, he added.
