'Diabolical' wins Daisy Appoo BTC Anniversary Cup

Bangalore, July 7 (UNI) Hot favourite 'Diabolical' brilliantly ridden by jockey B Prakash, won the 'Daisy Appoo BTC Anniversary Cup' (Gr-III), the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy.

Trainers S Padmanabhan, P Shroff and Jockey Mark Zahra scored a double each. Five favourites obliged punters in a long card of nine events.

Meanwhile, BTC instituted a special trophy 'S N Harish Memorial Trophy, in memory of veteran racing commentrator Mr Harish who died recently.
