Ranchi, July 7 (UNI) Former Jharkhand chief minister and leader of Opposition Arjun Munda today said that the BJP would launch a statewide agitation from August 9 to oust the UPA backed Madhu Koda government in the state.

Talking to reporters here Mr Munda said the UPA government in the state had lost credibility due to its anti-development policies.

''Therefor it has no right to continue in power,'' he said.

Mr Munda said even the coalition partners of the Koda government had charged the government with corruption and adopting anti-people attitude.

He alleged that the developmental projects had come to a halt and honest bureaucrats were being tortured.

He said demonstrations in the district headquarters would be organised as part of the agitation.
