AMSU begins probe into activities of NGO

Imphal, Jul 7: The All Manipur Students Union(AMSU) has started enquiry into the alleged illegal activities of some NGOs of Manipur.

Former AMSU president Joykumar Longjam said a committee had been formed to enquire into the activities of the NGOs.

AMSU leaders alleged a particular NGO had been publishing false advertisements and lured youths by promising hefty pay.

They said the AMSU and the committee would find out the details of the NGO, which was charged with opening various branches in the state.
