Aaj Tak enters Europe

New Delhi, July 7 (UNI) Country's leading news group TV Today Network today said it has forayed into Europe with the launch of its flagship 24-hour Hindi news channel Aaj Tak through an arrangement with World TV.

''Over the last two years, we have been eyeing opportunities in markets with a sizeable Indian diaspora. After the US and the West Asia, Europe is the next logical step for us,'' said TV Today Network Chief Executve Officer and Executive Director G Krishnan.

Launching Aaj Tak on the World TV platform will offer the viewers with live news and analysis straight from home right into their living room, he added.

The World TV platform in Europe has 11 Asian channels such as Star Plus, Star Gold, Star One, Sahara One, Sony Entertainment Television, SET Max, Sahara Filmy, Geo, Aag, Channel Punjab, Channel S.
