40 bags of fuki seized, three arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar July 7 (UNI) In its continued fight against the cultivation of narcotics in South Kashmir, police have seized 40 bags of fuki from three different persons in Arawani in Anantnag district.

A police spokesman said on a specific information, a raid was conducted in the house of one Mohammad Hussain Malik at Arwani, Bijbehara today.

During the search the police recovered three bags of fuki from his house.

Later in the same area 16 bags of fuki were recovered from the house of Mohammad Maqbool Sofi and 21 bags of the said narcotics from the house of Farooq Bhat.

Police have arrested all the three accused, he said.
