Woman washed away at Narayanpur Dam

Gulbarga, Karnataka, July 6 (UNI) Little did they expect that their picnic trip to turn into a tragedy when a woman of a ten-member family accidently fell into water and was washed away at the Narayanpur Dam in Shorapur Taluk of Gulbarga District.

Police said Sunitha Ramani(24), who went to the dam to watch the cascading waters accidently fell into the swirling waters and was washed away.

Police said efforts were on to retrieve the body.
