State government was much concerned over the pending dues of the farmers but the situation had deteriorated only due to the apathetic attitude of the previous government, she said adding, sugar mills in the state were yet to pay about Rs 2600 crore to the canegrowers.

Commenting on the objection raised by the Samajwadi Party members on scrapping the unemployment allowance scheme, the CM said the government would generate job opportunities in a big way as there was no paucity of funds for the purpose.

Expressing her government's commitment to all round infrastractural development of the state, she said efforts would be made through Public Private Participation(PPP) with giving equal importance to the rural and urban sectors.
