Two labourers buried alive, four injured in mine accident

Shimla, July 6 (UNI) Two labourers were today buried alive and four others injured at Rampur Hydroelectric Project Biayal.

The labrourers were digging a tunnel near Rampur when the accident occurred at 1700 hrs today.

The labourers were within 100 meters of 30 km long under-construction tunnel.

Police sources say the deceased were identified as S Kam Raj (36) and Munna (28) belonging to Orissa and Jharkhand respectively.

The injured have been rushed to Khanri hospital. One of them is reported to be serious.
