Two Govt employees arrested with 700 gm brown sugar

Jammu, July 6 (UNI) Two employees of Jammu and Kashmir tourism department were arrested along with 700 gm of brown sugar from Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Kud in Udhampur district, police sources today said.

The duo, on their way from Jammu to Srinagar, were intercepted by police at Kud, sources said, adding that during the search 700 gm of brown sugar was recovered from their possession.

Both employees of Jammu and Kashmir Tourist Corporation (JKTDC),, identified as Ratan Singh and Mohammad Shafi, were taken into custody.
