Sushma criticises Yechuri's statement on Shekhawat

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) The BJP today expressed its displeasure at the recent statement of CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechuri criticising the NDA-supported Presidential candidate Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.

Briefing reporters, Mr Shekhawat's chief spokesperson Sushma Swaraj said, ''People who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others.'' She said'' they must first peep into their own selves before they make any reference on others.'' Mr Shekhawat had honourably resigned from the services of Rajasthan Police and he had even received a certificate for his meritorious services during his stint in the State police department, she added.

Responding to questions on whether the NDA's Presidential candidate will file an affidavit before the Election Commission disclosing his moveable and immovable assets, including bank statement, Ms Swaraj said the matter is left to Mr Shekhawat and the decision he will take will be known in a day or two.
