Revenue per user for GSM service decline
New Delhi, July 6: The All India blended ARPU (Average Revenue Per User per month) for GSM services has declined across the board by 5.69 per cent to Rs 298 in the quarter ended March 2007 compared to Rs 316 the last quarter.
ARPU for GSM postpaid service have also declined by three per cent to Rs 613 from Rs 632 in Dec 2006. ARPU for GSM prepaid ARPU declined by 4.58 per cent from Rs 262 in December 2006 to Rs 250 in March 2007.
ARPU (per month) for CDMA services for the quarter ending March 2007 is Rs 202 as against Rs 196 for the quarter ending December thus registering a growth of 3.06 per cent.
Monthly ARPU for CDMA Postpaid segment has declined to Rs 447 from Rs 456 in the last quarter and for prepaid segment has increased to Rs 168 from Rs 159 in the last quarter.
