Rabri lambasts Nitish government for waterlogging in Patna

Patna, Jul 06 (UNI) Former Bihar Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Rabri Devi today lambasted the Nitish Kumar government for failing to solve the waterlogging problem during monsoon in different parts of the state capital.

In a release here, Ms Rabri Devi said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had assured the people last year that the state government would take steps to solve the waterlogging problem.

The situation in most parts of the state capital had deteriorated, while the capital town was yet to face the fury of the monsoon this year, she added.

'' In the name of widening of various roads, the construction agencies have dug up at several places in Patna making the movement of traffic risky, '' she said.
