People losing faith in political leaders: Rajnath

Bhopal, July 6 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today said people are losing faith in political leaders because of difference in their ''kathni and karni (words and deeds)''.

''BJP is the only party in the country that can take it up as a challenge to improve the image of people's representative,'' Mr Singh said, while addressing a state-level BJP conference here.

Mr Singh, called upon party workers to accept the challenge and adopt a behaviour that would increase people's confidence in people's representatives.

Mr Singh said party workers can have expectations from the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government but it was not necessary that their expectations would be fulfilled. As such, they should work in the party's interest without any complaint.

Earlier, Madhya Pradesh BJP President Narendra Singh Tomar expressed his concern over the deteriorating image of political leaders in public.
