Parliamentarians pay tributes to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee

New Delhi, July 6 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee led parliamentarians in paying tributes to Jana Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mukerjee on his 106th birth anniversary here today.

Other dignitaries who paid floral tributes at the portrait of Mr Mukherjee in the Central Hall of Parliament included the Leaders of Opposition in Parliament L K Advani and Jaswant Singh, Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs B K Handique, Dr T Subbarami Reddy, Madhusudan Devaram Mistry, V K Malhotra, Dr Najma Heptullah and Mrs Sushma Swaraj.

Lok Sabha Secretary General P D T Achary and Rajya Sabha Secretary General Yogendra Narain also paid floral tributes.

On this occasion the Lok Sabha Secretariat also brought out a booklet in Hindi and English on Dr Mukerjee.
